Harrington Nature Reserve is situated in Workington, a small market town on the west coast of beautiful Cumbria (The Lake District). The town is easily accessible by road and by train.

Getting there from Workington Town Centre

Follow the signs for Salterbeck and continue on to Harrington (1.5 miles). At Harrington take the first left along Moorclose Road. The Nature Reserve is 300m on the right hand side opposite St Mary's School (look out for the sign).

Getting there from A595

Turn off at West Lakes College and continue on the A597 until reaching High Harrington (1 mile). Continue until reaching the traffic junction (2 miles) then take a right up Moorclose Road. The Nature Reserve is 300m on the right hand side (opposite St Mary's School).
